Completely new artist here, like until a couple weeks ago hadn't touched art supplies since middle school, and this video really helps drive home the importance of doing line work first. I've seen lots of other videos, basically all of them, start with line work and for some reason I have basically ignored it. Thank you for this tutorial!

Whenever I use the lasso tool and do Ctrl + C then go to another frame that IS NOT THE END and do Ctrl + Shift + V it just creates a whole new purple layer. Is there a way to take an element of an older frame and put it into another one that already has something? Or do I just have to make a new video layer for it?
